Goblin variations

So, as Marley requested variations of goblins a while back, I rescheduled some stuff and present a little WIP today, featuring different goblin face variations.

I got rid of the standard goblin smile, which looks kinda ridiculous, and replaced it with a standard scowl expression. There's a variation with a scar and one with warpaint, Lord of the Rings-style.

Let me know if you have ideas for more variations.

Maybe you could do class type faces? like a warrior (scars and warpaint), scout (mask), heavy goblin (stronger facial features with more of a brute look). Perhaps one with goblin piercings like bones and metal.

That could be cool, though it may be a bit complicated. I do really like the idea of piercings, must add that to list of decals wants. 😀

Looking good so far! Though I just have one nitpick:
Do you think you could perhaps make the warpaint a bit less "faded?" Because the warpaint that Lego has added on their figs is a bit more "cleaner" and I wouldn't want to have it look extremely different. (example: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3626bpb0917&idColor=3#T=C&C=3)

Also, here are some variation ideas:
    1. Are you planning on making a female version of a goblin? Would that be hard to do?
    2. Do you think you could make another version of the non-scarred/non-painted face with the mouth open in a snarl?
    3. If you can do both of the above suggestions, do you think that you could create a female snarl face?

There are my suggestions, feel free to tell me if I'm asking for too much. Also, do you think you could e-mail me the next time you want to ask my opinion, I just think it may be easier.

      Hello Marley,

your suggestions are well and reasonable, I will adapt to them. A female version should be no problem once I work out a basic concept for that (probably different eye shape and maybe more pronounced lips).

Also, I will have to ask you for a little bit of patience, even if I am not responding for 2-3 days. I have spent the greater deal of this past weekend with pulling an all-nighter for my latest Nar Eurbrikka roleplay episode, which just tends to consume many hours of my spare time and for which I had to meet a deadline. I will continue to work on your designs ASAP, but please take into consideration that I am always working on multiple projects at once and that I also have a full-time job. I hope you understand!

Thank you very much! Glad my suggestions are easy to make into a reality! 🙂 Wouldn't want to be too bothersome now would I?
Also, about the patience thing, I completely understand! It's amazing that you are doing this anyways, for free! Sorry if you felt that I was pushy or impatient before, I was just excited to see if you could do my designs.
        Thanks a lot!

Also, here's a few more requests if you don't mind:

        1. Some pierced faces (perhaps some scarred/warpainted with piercings) with a sorta "brute" look to them.

        2. In one person of the female face, could you add a scar crossing over her right (her point of view) eye (the eye isn't damaged though).

Hopefully I'm not asking for too much, if I am, feel free to tell me.

          Hello Marley,

just wanting to let you know that I will try your suggestions and that I will resume to work on your decals next monday, since I am caught up in a lot of stuff until then.

          1. Marley Mac

Okay, cool. Glad you're working on them even if you're busy, thanks! I really appreciate it.

          Hello Marley,

I posted new goblin decals for you. I am afraid the piercings didn't turn out that well, but I hope you have use for the rest of the set. I am sorry it took so long!

          1. Marley Mac

That's fine. Thanks for doing it in the first place. I'll check them out!
